چکیده
The karst landscapes of the Mediterranean are regarded as some most vulnerable, fragile, and complex systems in world. They hold a particularly interesting group small islands with distinctive, recognizable landscape. Republic Croatia (HR), which has one indented coasts world, is known for them. In this paper, we analyzed spatio-temporal changes (STCs) landscape Ošljak Island, smallest inhabited island HR. Landuse/landcover change (LUCC) analysis been conducted from 1944 to 2021. methodology included acquisition multi-temporal data, data harmonization, production landuse/landcover (LU/LC) maps, selection optimal environmental indicators (EIs), simulation modeling. total, eleven comparable LU/LC models have produced, moderate accuracy. STCs quantified using nine EIs. dominant processes that influenced identified. results shown that, recent decades, undergone transformation was manifested through (a) pronounced expansion Aleppo pine; (b) deagrarianization, led secondary succession; (c) urban sprawl, functional significant detected afforestation pine. Namely, 77-year span, pine expanded intensively an area 11.736 ha, created model 2025, pointed possibility continued Specific guidelines management new transformed proposed. This research provides user-friendly methodological framework can efficiently monitor LUCCs smaller case when geospatial scarce satellite imagery coarser resolution cannot be used. Moreover, it gives insight into availability quality

Investigation of Long Term Trend of Spatio-Temporal changes of Sea Surface Temperature in Oman Sea
Considering the vast application of sea surface temperature in climatic and oceanic investigations, this parameter was studied in Oman Sea from 1986 to 2015. The SST was surveyed using trend analysis and Global and local Moran’s I spatial autocorrelation. In trend analysis, the Mann-Kendall test was used to determine the trend of SST changes and the Sen's Estimator method was used to examine th...
متن کاملassessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Spatio-Temporal Parameters' Changes in Gait of Male Elderly Subjects
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to compare spatio-temporal gait parameters between elderly and young male subjects. Methods & Materials: 57 able-bodied elderly (72±5.5 years) and 57 healthy young (25±8.5 years) subjects participated in this study. A four segment model consist of trunk, hip, shank, and foot with 10 reflective markers were used to define lower limbs. Kinematic data c...
متن کاملModeling of spatio-temporal of albedo over Iran
The aim of this study is modeling spatiotemporal variations of albedo. This study was conducted using simultaneous effects of several components, such as wetness of surface layer of soil, cloudiness, topography and vegetation density (NDVI), using MEERA2 model with a resolution of 50 in 50 km during 2000-2010 in Iran. The results of spatial analysis of albedo values in Iran showed that the high...
متن کاملSpatio-Temporal Changes of Natural Vegetation Disturbance in the Ahle Iman Watershed, Ardabil Province
The present study aimed to assess the spatio-temporal changes in the natural vegetation cover of Ahl Iman watershed, Ardabil province. For this purpose, land use maps of the three years (2000, 2010, and 2020) were extracted from Landsat satellite images. Then, seven landscape metrics (patch density, edge density, patch richness, splitting index, contagion index, Euclidean nearest neighbor dista...
